A Message from the Lopez Family

Our "Los"

Our son was a proud American who lived with passion and purpose.   He lived by jumping in and always doing it his way.  His boundaries were wide and open.  Carlos lived loud as his sister Nadia and in his 35 years he challenged her.  He loved his siblings Jennie & Rocky Anthony.  A loving Uncle to Beni, Soni, and Isa.  Acting became his passion, but PTSD his purpose.  Now that is our purpose. No more VETS die to PTSD.

Those of us who have not served this country never fully understands the sacrifices you've made.  However, as your family, we feel your loss and mourn it everyday.  You are never truly gone because of the gifts you left behind.  From your acting, came your fun spirit, from your writing came your stories, but from your soldiering came your experience.  With passion, purpose, and the memories of war, you gave meaning to your film, "PTSD, An American Tragedy."

Your Parents,

Carlos & Juanita Lopez
